Captured by Tyra Mitchell and styled by Soukena Jean-Jacques, sisters Seun and Kemi Olukanni step into Loza Maléombho's juxtaposed world as they wear delicate organza ruffles and structured velvet. The sunset falling onto the sandy shore of Brighton Beach casts a sultry shadow onto the Ivorian designer's creations, yet the statement pieces remain lucid and distinct.

Traditional silhouettes and futuristic fashion collide somewhere between the threads of Loza Maléombho's designs. Born in Brazil and raised between Côte d’Ivoire and the United States, she is inspired by both the old and the new — a true reflection of the afromodernist lens through which OXOSI sees the world. This contrasting appreciation for cultural attire and chic city wear can be seen throughout Loza Maléombho's SS17 collection. From boldly patterned sets to airy blouses and tailored dresses, Loza's aesthetic is so defined it cannot be ignored.
